This trip was never the plan. I was supposed to be in Italy, but a worn tire forced me to stop. Instead of pushing it, I pivoted. Took two days and rode into Slovenia.

It turned out to be exactly what I needed.

One moment I was floating in warm spa water. The next, I was flying downhill on a ski trike, laughing out loud and barely holding on. I was not thinking about deadlines or outcomes. I was just there. Present. Moving. Free.

I met a bunch of locals. Open people. Easy to talk to. Some were pole dancers, guys and girls, full of energy and stories. There was no plan. No structure. Just moments. And that was the best part.

What hit me the most? Travel is always worth it. Not just for the views, but because every new place cracks your mind open a bit more. Especially when you meet people. You start noticing habits, behaviors, how people live, what they need, and what you sometimes forget you need too.

And yeah, I crossed paths with a few characters worth remembering.

Movement opens minds. Especially when you are slightly terrified on a downhill slope.
